| Did you know? Overall boys do less well in Reading and Writing than girls in the National SATs tests at ages 7 and 11 years. You can help by encouraging boys to like books from an early age. Callum (right) loves books already. (Bear loves them too!) Find books that boys would like. Ensure they have a good role model - does dad; uncle; older brother read as well? Make books part of the daily routine. Join the library. |
